Awanui Day 2020 - Free Beeswax Food Wrap Craft Day
Awanui Day is always a special occasion for the Mana Kai Honey Team. This year was no exception.
This year we held a free beeswax food wrap craft day - something we have done in previous years that has always been very popular.
We have the lovely Jo from Cbec host the class and provide very practical knowledge on about reducing waste and advice on maintaining your beeswax food wraps.
We had three options available on the day:
Bee themed fabric to choose from that you could have turned into a wrap
White blank fabric + pens to get creative. Turn your own art into a wrap - very popular with the kids!
Bring in your own preloved beeswax wrap to have it refreshed with a new coat of beeswax.
We love seeing everyone come into the factory and participate - we had a great turn out.
